Day by Day Program
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)/ Transfer to Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania and the vibrant city of Arusha, known as the “Geneva of Africa”!
Upon your arrival at the airport, our expert safari guide will greet you and assist with the welcoming formalities before driving you to your lodge for an evening of relaxation. You’ll have plenty of time to check in, freshen up, and enjoy a delicious dinner. Afterward, retire to your room for a peaceful overnight stay, ready to begin your exciting Tanzanian safari adventure.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your expert safari guide will meet you for a briefing before embarking on a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large herds of elephants and iconic Baobab trees. Upon entering the park, you’ll begin your thrilling game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot zebras, lions, hippos, leopards, cheetahs, and more.
Enjoy a packed lunch at one of the park’s designated picnic areas before continuing your afternoon safari to explore more of Tarangire’s abundant wildlife. After a day filled with unforgettable wildlife sightings, your guide will return you to the lodge for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Mto wa Mbu / Lake Manyara National Park
Today offers the perfect blend of cultural immersion and wildlife exploration. After breakfast, you’ll head to Mto wa Mbu for a cultural excursion, where you’ll meet local communities and learn about their agricultural practices, including a visit to their banana plantations and local breweries that produce banana beer.
After enjoying a traditional African lunch, you’ll embark on an afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife, including hippos, giraffes, impalas, and zebras. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, home to flocks of pink flamingos and other migratory species, before heading to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
If you’re looking for breathtaking landscapes and wildlife, today is your day. After an early breakfast, you’ll head to Ngorongoro Crater for a thrilling game drive. As you approach the crater rim, you’ll witness stunning landforms before descending 600 meters into the caldera, home to the iconic Big Five – elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and black rhinos.
With its abundant green pastures and water sources, the crater makes wildlife viewing easier, and you may also spot antelopes, zebras, wildebeests, and various other species, before ascending and heading to Serengeti for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 & 6: Serengeti National Park
What an incredible experience!
Spending two full days in Serengeti is the perfect way to immerse yourself in Tanzania’s wildlife. You’ll embark on two exciting game drives through Serengeti’s central region, where the lush grasslands and water sources create an ideal habitat for a variety of wildlife.
Expect to see lions, leopards, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes during the drive, with a packed lunch at a designated picnic area before continuing your afternoon safari. After a thrilling day, return to your camp for a peaceful night in the Serengeti wilderness.
Day 7: Transfer to Seronera Airstrip/ Fly to Zanzibar
Extend your romantic safari with a relaxing getaway to Zanzibar’s stunning beaches. After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to Seronera Airstrip for a scenic flight to Zanzibar Island.
Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our Safari representative and escorted to your hotel in Stone Town. Enjoy a peaceful evening at the hotel, unwinding on the beach and taking in the breathtaking views of Zanzibar’s pristine coastline.
Day 8: Stone Town Tour
After breakfast, embark on a fascinating Stone Town tour, exploring the former capital of Zanzibar with its rich history tied to the spice and slave trade. Your local guide will share captivating stories about the sultans, the history of slavery, trade routes, and the Swahili culture that defines Zanzibar.
Enjoy lunch and dinner at your leisure, with the perfect opportunity to taste traditional Swahili cuisine. The Flavors of Zanzibar are enhanced by spices such as cardamom, cloves, ginger, garlic, and cinnamon, offering a unique culinary experience.
Day 9 & 10: Nungwi Beach
Nungwi Beach and the northern beaches of Zanzibar are renowned for their crystal-clear waters and pleasant temperatures, making them perfect for water sports. Day 11: Morning in Leisure/ Depart
