Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) / Transfer to Arusha
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly greeted by a Sky Wanders Safaris representative who will guide you through the welcome procedures. Then, enjoy a scenic one-hour drive to Arusha, where you’ll have dinner and check into your accommodation for the night.
Depending on your arrival time, you may be treated to breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru as you pass through the beautiful Tanzanian countryside. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to observe local life, and feel free to ask your driver to stop for any roadside exploration or discovery before settling in for a relaxing shower, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Experience the stunning beauty of Tanzania with Sky Wanders Safaris. After a delicious breakfast, your expert safari guide will brief you before heading to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive, a 2-hour drive through captivating landscapes adorned with iconic baobab trees—often referred to as the “Trees of Life.”
Tarangire is renowned for its large herds of elephants, and along the Tarangire River, you’ll encounter a wide variety of wildlife, including leopards, buffaloes, gazelles, and zebras. Enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch amidst the park’s natural beauty, followed by more wildlife viewing, before transferring to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Game en route to Serengeti National Park
Discover the vast beauty of Serengeti National Park with Sky Wanders Safaris. After a hearty breakfast, depart for the Endless Plains of Serengeti, driving through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands where you’ll encounter stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife.
Serengeti offers incredible picnic spots where you’ll enjoy a packed lunch while taking in the breathtaking surroundings, before setting off on an afternoon game drive. In the Seronera region of Serengeti, you’ll have the chance to witness a wide array of wildlife, including wildebeest, lions, zebras, elephants, leopards, and cheetahs, before returning to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Today, enjoy a thrilling full-day game drive in the Serengeti Central Area, known for its vast Endless Plains and abundant wildlife. After an early breakfast, you’ll set off with a packed lunch to explore the Seronera region, home to an impressive array of wildlife such as wildebeest, gazelles, zebras, and warthogs, with the chance to spot big cats like cheetahs, leopards, and lions.
Around midday, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the park’s scenic picnic sites before continuing your afternoon safari to search for even more remarkable wildlife. After an exciting day of game viewing, your guide will return you to the camp for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Today is the perfect day for exploring the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, renowned for its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. After a delicious breakfast, you’ll drive to the crater, where the unique ecosystem allows wildlife to thrive without needing to migrate, thanks to abundant rainfall and lush pastures.
The crater is home to the Big Five lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards—and with a bit of luck, you may encounter all of them during your game drive. You’ll also visit Lake Magadi, a beautiful feature of the crater, where you can spot flocks of flamingos and a variety of other bird species before ascending the crater and heading to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Drive Back to Arusha / Depart
